Mr. Kanté, how did you see this?
It’s the Chelsea Are In Turmoil Week, and they’re in desperate need of a win.
On Wednesday they lost 4-0 to Bournemouth.
A week ago, Maurizio Sarri said this:
Sarri: "These players don't have a ferocity, it's the type of players they are."

So today, they’re at home against the last-place team in the EPL.
In need not only of a win, but a resounding one.
And so, in the 16th minute—they begin with this goal.
Set up by this wonderful, supernatural pass from N’Golo Kanté.
That's one of the assists of the season from Kante. Disguised pass straight to the feet of Higuain.

Here it is again, from an even better angle:

There’s Higuaín, and a line of four defenders behind him. Everything safe. Secure.
So they drift forward. He darts the opposite way.
And with his head down, the ball at his feet…
Somehow, Kanté sees the run—and with a flick of his right foot, he breaks down the defense, Higuaín puts it in, and Chelsea have the first goal on their way to a 5-0 win.

So in this new era of the Premier League, where Manchester City and Tottenham have vaulted forward, Leicester City took the title one year, and the old guard has stumbled onto shaky ground…
We can’t quite know what we’re going to get.
When over the last decade, the regulars have all gone through an odd patch:
Liverpool finishing 6th, 7th, 8th, and 8th.
Man United finishing 7th, 6th, 5th.
Arsenal finishing 5th, and 6th in the last two years.
And Chelsea, too, finishing as low as 10th in the table.
So when you see a team like this, losing 4-0 one day, winning 5-0 the next…
You start to wonder—what kind of team are we dealing with, here?
Sometimes maybe good, sometimes maybe shit!

So please, Mr. Sarri, Hazard, Kanté, Higuaín…
Will you help us out a bit—and will the real Chelsea F.C. please stand up?
They won big today. The assist was a beauty.
But it’s Huddersfield, in the cellar of the cellar of the table.
Anyone have any idea what comes next?
